About Pickleball
Fun, social and friendly. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
The Basics
- A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
- Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.
- Played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes.
- Played as doubles or singles.
- Can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels
Location
Box Elder County Fairgrounds – Fine Arts Building. 6 indoor courts on a composite floor.
Pickleball Open Gym
Open gym is open for everyone beginners – advanced players. Cost is $3
Current open gym hours are: Wednesday mornings 8-10 AM.
Adult Pickleball Leagues
Fall League
Registration: League is a held on Monday nights and starts October 6th.
Cost: $25 for 6 week league
Format: Ladder League, No partner is needed. The format is designed so that players mostly play others of similar skill level. The ranking is based on the winning percentage (ratio of points won to total points possible). Players will move up or down the ladder based upon their winning percentage to determine who they play each week.

Winter League
Registration: League is a held on Monday and Friday nights starting Jan 2nd.

YOUTH PICKLEBALL
Registration: Held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9 AM starting June 8th.
Cost: $40 for 6 sessions.
We have teamed up with Utah Junior Pickleball to provide a fun learning league. This league is for youth wanting to learn how to play pickleball. It will be held @ the Tremonton City Tennis Courts.
This is a fun, well rounded, instructional Pickleball training for beginners. Season will start with skill development in a clinic – style format led by experienced coaches. They will be learning rules, fundamentals, the key techniques of serving, stance, dinks, 3rd shot drops and transitioning. As these skills are developed, games are utilized to promote each skill in a game environment. Rotations, team work, positioning, hustle, and communication will be introduced, preparing for lifelong game enjoyment.
Youth Pickleball Ladder League
Registration: Held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10:30 AM starting June 8th.
Cost:$40 for 3 week league.
Participants in this league should know the rules and have the basic skills to play. Each day players will be divided onto courts with players of a similar skill level where you will play with and against every other person on the court. points % will be gathered each week with overall % points determining rankings. It will be held @ the Tremonton City Tennis Courts.
