Job Title: Building Inspector

Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly)
Pay Range: $24.00 – $33.97 per hour (Depending on Experience/Certification)

Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for a full-time position of Building Inspector. The pay range is $24.00 – $33.97 and is based on experience and required certifications. This position performs technical, administrative, and corresponding duties related to enforcing building and development codes.

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of related experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a related field are preferred. Candidate must be licensed with the State of Utah and International Code Council (ICC) with the following certifications: Mechanical Inspector, Structural Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Fire Inspector, and Combination Inspector. Must have knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations and the general principles of the construction business, construction trades, development, subdivision, and the like.
