CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Mayor Fridal called the September 10, 2021 Police Chief interviews to order at 10:00 a.m. The interviews were held in the City Council Meeting Room at 102 South Tremont Street, Tremonton, Utah. Those in attendance were Mayor Fridal, Councilmembers Holmgren and Rohde, and City Manager Warnke. Also in attendance was Fire Chief LaCroix, Attorney Dustin Ericson, Administrative Assistant Tara Buckway, Garland Councilmember Chuck Bingham, and Former Police Chief Kurt Fertig.

1. Opening

Mayor Fridal welcomed those in attendance.

Motion by Councilmember Rohde to move into closed session. Motion seconded by Councilmember Holmgren. Vote: Councilmember Holmgren – aye, Councilmember Rohde – aye. Motion approved.

The Council moved into a closed session at 10:03 a.m.

2. CLOSED SESSIONS:
a. Interviews for position of Police Chief

Motion by Councilmember Rohde to return to open session. Motion seconded by Councilmember Holmgren. Vote: Councilmember Holmgren – aye, Councilmember Rohde – aye. Motion approved.

The Council returned to open session at 2:10 p.m.

3. Adjournment.

Motion by Councilmember Rohde to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Councilmember Holmgren. Vote: Councilmember Holmgren – aye, Councilmember Rohde – aye. Motion approved.

The meeting adjourned at 2:10 p.m.
