Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Tremonton City recognizes the vital role that trained community volunteers can play in preparing for and responding to local emergencies. That’s why establishing a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a key priority for our emergency management efforts.
While Tremonton’s CERT program is still in development, plans are actively underway to build a team of residents who are trained to assist first responders during disasters and large-scale incidents. CERT members will be trained in basic emergency skills such as fire suppression, light search and rescue, disaster medical operations, and team organization.
The goal is to empower volunteers with the skills and knowledge to help their families, neighborhoods, and the broader community when professional responders may be delayed or overwhelmed.
We invite anyone interested in learning more or getting involved to follow our Tremonton City CERT Facebook page, where we’ll share updates as the program takes shape, including training opportunities, informational meetings, and ways you can help support the effort.
