Tremonton Youth City Council

Tremonton City sponsors its Youth City Council in order to provide the youth of our community an opportunity to get involved with the city government and to provide opportunities for service and education. Social events are also held regularly. All members of the council must live within the boundaries of Tremonton City (or unincorporated surrounding areas/cities without a Youth Council) and be in grades 9 thru 12.

All Youth City Council members will be representing our city and are expected to be willing to serve, be individuals of character and integrity, set an appropriate example, attend meetings and support the goals of the council. This is an opportunity to serve the community, develop leadership skills, and participate in educational experiences. Besides being fun, being a member of the council looks good on resumes and scholarship applications.

We are looking for dependable, community minded citizens ready to serve our city.

The Tremonton Youth City Council Motto is:
Above all, we will strive for a strong Council.
That strength starts with me.

My opinions matter.
My talents are valued.
My leadership will be recognized as I will accomplish great things throughout my life.

My position expects me to be a leader that is kind, willing to work with others, and makes the city of Tremonton proud.

Most of all, I will live right.
I am valued.
Every day I will strive to become a better me.
