About Chief Dustin Cordova

Chief Dustin Cordova is the Chief of Police for the Tremonton-Garland Police Department, with over 16 years of law enforcement experience. He is dedicated to serving the community, fostering positive relationships, and leading with integrity. Chief Cordova’s approach emphasizes justice, safety, and transparency, working to create a stronger and safer community through education, mentorship, and proactive leadership.

Under his leadership, the department has seen improved morale, a significant reduction in crime rates, and enhanced operational efficiency. He has successfully secured funding for training and operations and implemented evidence-based policing strategies that have dramatically reduced crime, including narcotics, burglary, and theft.
Chief Cordova is also an adjunct professor at Weber State University, where he mentors future law enforcement professionals. His education includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Weber State University, as well as completion of the School of Police Staff & Command at Northwestern University. Additionally, he has earned various certifications from prestigious institutions, including the FBI Executive Command College and FBI LEEDA Leadership Program, among others.
