NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE

The Tremonton City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

– The Tremonton City tax on a $280,000 residence would increase from $350.97 to $392.39, which is $41.42 per year.

– The Tremonton City tax on a $280,000 business could increase from $638.12 to $713.44, which is $75 year.

– If the proposed budget is approved, Tremonton City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 11.81% above last year’s property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
