There’s a trail in this town named after a dear friend of mine—a man who, like so many others, gave his hands and heart to the shaping of this valley. Without his grit and good sense, much of what you see here today might never have taken root.

Make your way to that trail which bears his name. Once there, find the plaque that honors his memory. Read it carefully, for I’ve tucked a clue there for those who know how to look beyond the surface.”
