Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for Police Officer I, II or III. Police Officers starting pay is $17.89 per hour. Lateral Officer’s pay is based on time and experience ($17.89 – $33.02). Position will be responsible for the protection of life and property, the detection and prevention of crime, the apprehension of criminals, and the enforcement of Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, POST certification is preferred. Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, County, and City laws and ordinances, Department issued equipment and the maintenance of the equipment, proper collection and preservation of evidence, basic computer software, and Tremonton City and its street systems.
