Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for a full-time position of Public Works Uncertified at a starting wage of $13.54 per hour. This position will perform tasks requiring the use of a variety of hand tools and equipment such as picks, shovels, rakes, and chain saws, is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and storing assigned tools and equipment, operates light and heavy equipment, performs repair work of routine and minor nature throughout the City, and all other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience. Candidate must earn Level 2 Certified Operator within 18 months of hire date. This position requires the following abilities: follow written and verbal instructions and communicate in English. Must already live or be willing to relocate to an area deemed acceptable by Tremonton City for On-Call time within one month and already posses or must obtain a CDL within three months of hire. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on-call as assigned.
