PUBLIC NOTICE

A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Tremonton City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of property by Jason Murray located in Box Elder County between 4800 W and 5200 W and between 12000 N and 11600 N and more specifically described as follows:

THAT PART OF THE FOLLOWING LYING OUTSIDE TREMONTON CITY LIMITS: BEG AT A POINT 33 FT SOUTH OF NW CORNER OF NE/4 OF NW/4 OF SEC 01, T 11 N, R 03W, SLM. THENCE SOUTH 1285.7 FT; EAST 304.9 FT; NORTH 1285.7 FT; WEST 304.9 FT TO BEG.

Notice of certification was received by the Tremonton City Council on September 9, 2024. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Tremonton City Recorder.

Tremonton City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 1 South Main, Brigham City, Utah 84302, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Tremonton City Recorder by October 10, 2024. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the governing board of an affected entity as defined in UCA 10-2-401(a).
