The roadway and signal work that has been taking place at the intersection of SR-102 and SR-13 (The Crossroads) will be going into winter shutdown around the beginning of December. The work is not complete. The intersection will be in a temporary configuration through winter. The new signal will be active for intersection control. In the spring, work will recommence and should be complete by the early summer. It will include pavement widening on the east and west legs of the intersection, similar to what has been done on the north and south legs this fall. This will be followed by a pavement seal coat and re-striping the intersection to the final striping design layout. The final striping layout will include the addition of dedicated left turn lanes for each leg of the intersection.
