S/St. Kimber lost his life January 22, 1945 while serving in the Phillippines Islands. He was attempting to save a comrade whose plane had crashed. While trying to extricate the pilot, the plane exploded killing him instantly.
Born October 22, 1921 at Brigham City, Utah. He died October 14, 1943.
He was born February 1, 1914. He died April 9, 1945 and was buried on Okinawa first. His body was brought home to Garland, Utah and re-buried on April 15, 1949.
He entered the army in 1940 and lost his life on the Belgium front. He was in the 53rd Armored Division.

Darrell was a S/Sgt of the 837 AAf Bomb Squadron stationed in England. After take off one flight, the plane lost two engines. The load they were carrying was too heavy for the two remaining engines, which caused them to crash May 20, 1944.
He was killed by gunfire as his platoon was trying to take a cement bunker in Epinal, Frnace on September 24, 1944. He was just 9 days past his 20th birthday and had the rank of P.F.C.
He joined the Army Air Corps May 24, 1939 and left for the Pacific Island June 27, 1939 where he was assigned to the 3rd Pursuit Squadron where he became a Staff Sergeant and radio inspector. He was wounded on December 9, 1941. He was captured by Japanese and forced on the Battaan Death March. [...]
