T & C Adams was killed November 1, 1945 in Leige, Belgium with a vehicle roll over on the way to the front lines.

While serving with the 65th Armored Infantry Battalion in Belgium, Bastogue, Chenogne, George was getting out of a jeep and stepped onto a land mine.  It took off his foot and shrapnel hit his head.  This happened the 1st of January 1945 and he died on the 6th of January.  He had served in Germany, [...]

He joined the navy June 8, 1942.  He served overseas for two years on the battleship U.S.S. Tennessee then was transferred to another ship.  He was killed off the coast of Okinawa on August 13, 1945.

Most of the soldiers on Iwo Jima were 17, 18, & 19 years old.  Jessie was 19 ½ years old when he was killed in combat on Iwo Jima on February 27, 1945.  Seven thousand boys (soldiers) died on Iwo Jima in the worst battle in the history of the Marine Corps.

T/Sgt Woerner was in the 22nd Field Artillery serving in England.  He was in an automobile wreck while on duty there and died of 3rd degree burns over 90% of his body.  July 29, 1944 was his death date in Tidwell or Cambridge England.

1st Lt. Peterson was reported missing in the Philippine Islands May 7, 1942. He was part of the Quartermaster Corps. He was a Prisoner of War and presumed dead by March 1, 1946.

He died December 15, 1945 at New Foundland, Fort McAndrew from the result of gun shot wounds received in an accident.

Ensign Adams was assisting the landing of U.S. troops at the invasion of Italy on the Salerno Beach head when he was killed September 10, 1943 by a bomb blast from German Dive-Bomber.  His unit was U.S. Navy Beach Battalion.

Lt. Bone was an instructor for the first jets used by the Air Force.  On the final flight for his student, he was in the rear and the student had controls.  The plane was flying straight when suddenly it went into a dive into the ground.  His death was February 21, 1951 at San Antonio, [...]
